Retail and Administration Coordinator
We’re searching for a super-organised person in the role of Retail and Administration Coordinator. The person will work with us full-time in our Sydney office in Darlinghurst.
Australian Design Centre is Australia’s leading centre for contemporary craft and design. Since first opening our doors in 1964 we have played a vital role in showcasing designers and makers who embrace the highest degree of craftsmanship and who continually explore material, process and ideas to advance contemporary design practice.
The role:
This full-time role (Tuesday to Saturday) is based in Darlinghurst, Sydney.
The role is the first point of contact involving reception desk duties working with key suppliers, presentation and administration of Object Shop and ensuring the smooth-running of the office and gallery by working with the team, artists, and other key suppliers.
About you:
We are looking for someone who thrives in being friendly, calm and organised in a busy environment with a small friendly team. This unflappable person is an excellent communicator, has great attention to details, is happy to jump in and help, and has experience using the tools in Microsoft Office.
Previous experience in assisting with events, retail and using an accounts related package like Xero is highly desirable.
