Library, Museum and Gallery Assistants
We are seeking Library, Museum & Gallery Assistants with a focus on attending front of house services for these cultural facilities. The role will provide exceptional customer service to our community and be the face of our Library, Museum and Gallery (LMG).
To assist in delivering LMG services to the community, including service desk shifts, administrative tasks, public programs, events and exhibitions. To provide customer, circulation and reception services to LMG customers at any location as rostered and to support the Group’s public programs and outreach activities as required. To deliver children’s story time activities as rostered (library position).
The LMG Assistant positions are available in the following service areas:
- Museum & Gallery – Part time term position offering minimum of 16 hours per week. The term contract is until 24 December 2021.
- Library – Casual Position
Must be available for weekend work.
Want to work with a passionate, dynamic and upbeat team? The ideal applicant will possess a Certificate III in Library and Information Services or equivalent qualifications with previous experience in a Library, Museum or Gallery environment with the ability to organise and participate in a range of children’s activities, including story time.
