The National Gallery’s Learning team designs and delivers innovative and inclusive onsite, on-tour and online programs and projects to engage Australians from all backgrounds with the national art collection and artistic program, expanding the National Gallery’s reach and impact.
Our ideal candidate for the Head of National Learning is a passionate and inspiring collaborator and leader who can work dynamically across the organisation and beyond to oversee programs and content that widen participation, spark curiosity and new ways of thinking about the world. In this role you will be responsible for transforming, expanding and deepening the National Gallery’s engagement with audiences across Australia and beyond by leading a diverse, innovative and inclusive program of creative learning experiences for all ages and abilities.
As the Head of National Learning, you will foster innovation, deliver best-practice models of life-long learning, continuously research and evaluate activities for continuous improvement and develop meaningful and innovative national partnerships. To be successful in this role you must have industry-leading experience and connections, provide inspiring leadership to the Learning team, facilitate change management and deliver high-level creative and strategic direction for learning initiatives.

This is a full-time, ongoing employment opportunity available within the Learning and Digital Portfolio.
