Group Bookings Coordinator
The AM Bookings Office is responsible for all enquiries and group bookings relating to the AM’s education program, for tourism agencies, and other group bookers. The Group Bookings Coordinator plays a key role as a relationship manager within the Visitor Services unit, delivering high-level customer service and ensuring flow of information both internally and externally, and managing correspondence and sales via email, phone and web channels.
The Group Bookings Coordinator provides system support to group bookers and members of the Visitor Services unit. The individual has a responsibility to deliver detailed database administration, ensuring maintenance of stakeholder data and bookings in the Tessitura system, and working with the database team to help with ongoing planning and testing for group ticketing, supporting the visitor services team with group ticketing issues and information, and with reconciliation of sales, feedback, and reporting as required.
The role also provides day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting of issues, and ad hoc assistance to the Manager Visitor Services and Engagement as required, including in the escalation of complex issues.
The Group Bookings Coordinator will enjoy working for a leading Natural History and Cultural Heritage space, with opportunities to work on exciting projects to enhance the understanding and experience of our group and tourism visitors through input in the AM’s CRM and bookings database (Tessitura).
Key Knowledge & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in supporting CRM Systems, Bookings platforms or Ticketing Systems. Experience with Tessitura advantageous.
- Knowledge of the science, arts and cultural sectors and their operations
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in ICT, Business or the arts and cultural sector.
