Gallery Associate – Sales and Engagement

The Gallery Associate – Sales & Engagement will act as an ambassador for Edwina Corlette Gallery and play a critical role in promoting our Artists and the Gallery, ensuring sustained audience engagement and sales practices. The successful candidate will work closely with the Gallery Director, to plan and implement the strategic development of the Gallery and its audiences.
They will successfully create and develop relationships with clients, assist with the sales process, seek opportunities to educate our audience and communicate the Artist’s ideas and intentions, and identify and target dynamic partnerships to promote our Artists and the Gallery.
A collaborative approach, an eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and an enthusiasm to realise the full potential of all Gallery and Artist projects undertaken, are all essential.
A relevant tertiary qualification (Fine Arts/Arts Management an advantage but not essential) and a minimum four (4) years relevant professional experience are a must. Advanced knowledge of and experience with Filemaker, Microsoft Office, Photoshop are required, and experience with Xero is an advantage.
