Exhibitions and Loan Coordinator
The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) is the national collecting agency concerned with the visibility, usability, and sustainability of Australia’s audio-visual heritage. The NFSA’s mission is to collect, preserve and share the national audio-visual collection, in order for others to learn, experience and create with it.
The NFSA Exhibitions program currently has 3 x exhibition areas and is looking to expand these further into more non-traditional methods of display. This is a reflection of its diverse collection which includes film, sound, television, gaming, photographs, posters, costumes and more.
About the role
The Exhibitions team is seeking highly motivated applicants for an Exhibitions and Loans Coordinator role. The position is responsible for managing exhibition documentation and logistics within the Exhibitions Management System (Museum Plus), incoming exhibition loans, coordinating and assisting with the delivery of exhibition installations and supporting the objectives of the Programs and Place team.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated demonstrate initiative and manage a diverse work program and work effectively in small cross-section teams to deliver projects.
The position is full time 36.75 hours per week, based in Acton, Canberra.
