As we transform and expand Newcastle Art Gallery, an exciting opportunity exists to join our evolving team. City of Newcastle is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Education Officer to join the Newcastle Art Gallery team in a newly created role.

This position will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of education programs, including the development of marketing strategies and collateral to support the promotion of these programs. You will also manage the Gallery’s schedule of visiting school groups and will be a skilled presenter of educational programs for a wide range of community groups. The Education Officer will have strong local networks to develop programming that is ambitious and engages diverse presenters and audiences. This role would suit a highly motived individual with a background in delivering educational programs and workshops with broad knowledge of art.
