We are seeking a passionate creative with keen digital skills who would like to help us deliver a year long project for the benefit of regional galleries, museums and Aboriginal cultural centres and keeping places in NSW.
Who we are
Museums & Galleries of NSW (M&G NSW) helps museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres of NSW create exciting and inspiring experiences for visitors and strong, thriving local communities. We develop their skills, connect them with others in the industry, provide funding, point visitors their way, and give them access to ground-breaking exhibitions.
Our focus is the 500+ organisations in NSW that have the passion to inspire their communities and visitors through art, artefacts, stories and ideas but do not always have the means to realise their potential. And with 66% of museums, galleries and cultural centres located outside of metro areas, we also want to help more people discover the many cultural gems NSW has to offer.
We are seeking a part-time Digital Project Creative. The position is offered on a temporary contract at 28 hours per week for 12 months.
This position is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the Let’s Get Digital project, funded through Create NSW, in collaboration with the broader M&G NSW team. It also implements a series of training programs on behalf of the organisation for the museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres and keeping places in NSW.
The salary is $63,700 pro-rata plus 9.5% employer superannuation contribution and leave loading over four weeks.
Please download and read the position description available below. Email the following documents to firstname.lastname@example.org by COB Monday 15 March 2021:
