This maximum-term, part-time position will see your creative and organisational skills shine in the development and delivery of the Gallery’s Public Programs and Workshop Program. The delivery of the Gallery’s exciting art prizes is also an integral aspect of this role, all of which reflect the Gallery’s impressive reputation in the arts sector as a leading regional gallery.
You’ll be part of a small, fast paced, creative, hardworking team, and must also have the ability to work independently when required. Our team prides itself on offering the best possible service to our visitors and sector relationships.

What’s on offer:
An attractive base salary ranging from $35.22 per hour with competency based increments up to $41.34 per hour, (the position works ordinary hours on Sundays, which carries a penalty entitlement of 50%) plus 9.5% super.
Maximum-term 12 month role – 21 hours per week – Sunday to Tuesday.

We are seeking:
Demonstrated professional experience in a Gallery or Museum, including experience in targeted and general promotion of programs and events.
Degree in Arts Administration, Visual Arts or equivalent.
Demonstrated competence in the coordination of visual arts and crafts programs.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, reliability and attention to detail.
An individual who values teamwork and has the ability to share knowledge, support and encourage others.
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
