Creative Programs Coordinator

The Role
Reporting to the Manager Arts and Culture, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver curriculum based creative learning and public programs enabling audiences to interact with the Library, Museum and Gallery (LMG) collections, exhibitions and services.
You will coordinate the teamwork, resources and evaluation of these programs and the promotion of relevant events and programs for the LMG. In addition, you will work collaboratively with colleagues in the LMG and Council as well as with other stakeholders to achieve goals, particularly those associated with delivering and promoting LMG education, public programs, and events.

Essential Criteria
Relevant tertiary qualifications, and/or significant experience in the development, delivery and promotion of curriculum based creative learning programs and public programs for audience development and engagement, a Class C Drivers Licence, and a WWCC.
Demonstrable skills in developing and delivering history, art, literacy and creative earning focused programs, for adult and youth audience development and engagement.
Ability to provide coordination across a multi-disciplinary team and at times, volunteer involvement.
Able to develop and effectively use a range of promotional tools across print, online and social media platforms including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Squiz or similar website creation tool, EMMA or similar e-newsletter software, Instagram and Facebook.
Highly developed interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills.
