contour 556 is looking for a passionate Creative Producer to lead the design, development and delivery
of our artistic programs, including the 2024 Canberra Art Biennial.

The Creative Producer is a key leadership role working collaboratively with the Board to ensure long-
term organisational sustainability. The role is responsible for the design and delivery of our artistic
program, bringing individual research and creativity to the position. The role also collaborates with the
Board to develop, implement and review the contour 556 strategic plan.

The role is suited to an early or mid-career curator or arts worker with arts management skills,
knowledge of local and national arts practice, and existing networks in the sector.

The ideal candidate will understand the role that contour 556 plays within the local and national arts
sector and be passionate about supporting the organisation’s development.

Having the ability to work collaboratively with artists to nurture creative ideas is important to the
success of the role.
