The National Gallery of Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer to join a small, dynamic and creative team at Australia’s leading visual arts institution. You will join the Communications team and will also work closely with the Marketing and Development sections in delivering media and marketing events for the Gallery.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working on communications strategies including media briefings and releases, internal communications, event management and online content development. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be highly organised and experienced in undertaking a range of administrative support duties.
You will work closely with the Head of Communications and the Communications Manager to implement a range of communications strategies that actively promote the Gallery’s exhibitions, public programs, events and travelling exhibitions.
This is a full-time ongoing employment opportunity available within the Communications Department, which reports to the Director.
