The Museum presents high quality exhibitions, artist-led public programs, art courses and education programs, corporate and community events, and manages the city’s permanent art collection and a store dedicated to Australian art and design. MAMA is open 7 days per week, 363 days per year.

About the Role

The MAMA Business Manager is responsible for designing and delivering business solutions, commercial operations and overseeing museum operations. Under the direction of MAMA Director, and as a key member of the Museum’s leadership team, the Business Manager orients the museum towards financial growth and sustainability, as well as optimising operations and business systems. The Business Manager develops new revenue opportunities, fundraising strategies, and commercial partnerships. The position manages a small team including the Operations Officer, Business Development Officer, and Retail Coordinator.

Full time, permanent role. Based on a 35 hour week, working Monday to Friday with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines.

Salary range from $84,044 – $92,450.
