I’m going to Lionel’s Place -The Storybook Exhibition is an exhibition that takes you on the enchanted journey to Lionel’s Place through the pages of the storybook, illustrated by Lionel Lindsay’s etchings and wood engravings. The exhibition also recounts the making of MRAG’s very first published storybook and features the processes required in its creation including development of the storyline, photography, design and the printing processes.

Seraphine

The café Seraphine caters to a large number of patrons Tuesday-Sunday 8am-4.30pm as well as for functions in and outside normal art gallery hours.

The menu at Séraphine changes with the seasons, accentuating simple styled good food with fresh seasonal produce.

The Gallery Shop

MRAG’s retail outlet showcases the wares of local, national and international artists and craftspeople as well as objects from the Pacific and the East including Africa and Mexico. The MRAG shop also offers toys and decorative art from international destinations.
