Planning makes perfect: strategic planning for artist-run initiatives - 24 February 2010

12 / 02 / 2010 – 26 / 02 / 2010

One of the most important steps an organisation can take is to chart a strategic direction. Not only do funding bodies need it before they’ll support you, but for your Board, your members, and your own internal management, a strong strategic plan is an invaluable tool.

A good strategic plan has a powerful motivating effect. It provides clarity of purpose, it invigorates, informs and inspires. A well crafted strategic plan commits you to a particular direction; it maps a way into the future. It helps you focus your efforts on what you want to achieve, and know the feasibility of doing so.

Planning makes perfect is an online workshop that looks at some keys to successful strategic planning. Join strategic planning expert, Claire Duffy, for an online presentation followed by discussion.
