Noelle, Library & Cultural Development Manager, Newcastle City Council has a background in libraries, arts and cultural development and education. Her previous roles have included Lead Agencies Manager, Arts SA, and Director, Community Information Strategies Australia.

 

Noelle developed a keen interest in the concept of convergence during the development of Newcastle’s Civic & Cultural Precinct Masterplan. While a converged library and museum building was originally included in the Masterplan this will not be realised. However, Noelle’s research and ongoing examination of the potential of convergence is considered to provide an ideal background for the panel and audience discussion.
