Roundtable with 2009 M&G NSW Fellowship Recipient, Jane Cush - 19 February 2010

12 / 02 / 2010 – 20 / 02 / 2010

The Boston Children’s Museum is a world leader in engaging and educating children within a museum context. Since being founded by a group of teachers almost one hundred years ago, the Boston Children’s Museum has made a significant impact in how young people experience museums.

In 2009, Jane Cush was the recipient of a Museum & Galleries NSW Fellowship hosted by the Boston Children’s Museum in Massachusetts, USA.  After a two week stay at the museum, Jane has returned to Australia with new insight into public programming and visitor experience.  Join Jane on Friday 19 February as she discusses her Fellowship experience, and discusses how fresh perspectives have informed the activities at Goulburn Regional Art Gallery.

This event coincides with the launch of M&G NSW’s 2010 Fellowship Program.  Prospective 2010 Fellowship applicants will have the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming Fellowship and application process.
