Curator, National Museum of Australia

 

Pip first worked in registration and is currently a curator at the National Museum. She completed a graduate diploma in Museum Studies at James Cook University in Townsville, and a Masters in Museums and Collections at the Australian National University in Canberra.

 

Pip worked at Townsville Museum and has remained engaged with small volunteer run museums and regional museums through recent involvement with Museums Australia National Network. She also works on the coordination and planning of Working Spaces – workshops for museum volunteers.

 

Pip’s message to new Standards Participants:

I am really looking forward to working with the Standards Review Committee of Museums and Galleries NSW and meeting many of the 2011 participants in this program.
