Over two days, 55 regional and public gallery affiliated professionals, M&G NSW staff and M&G NSW Board members met in Port Macquarie at the 2011 Regional & Public Galleries NSW conference, titled, Currency: resilience, relevance, resourcefulness. Arts NSW Business Plan & Funding Tips by Grainne Brunsdon
Grainne Brunsdon manages the Visual Arts, Museums, Literature, New Media and Major Festivals program at Arts NSW. Prior to this she was Assistant Director at the British Council in Sydney. She worked at Object, in development and in their studio program, and has taught design studies at CoFA and Enmore TAFE. Grainne studied at the NCAD in Dublin and completed a Masters of Fine Art at CoFA. She worked in her own practice and with a number of contemporary jewellers in Europe before she came to Australia.

Links and References by Krista Huebner
With a degree in Communications and Marketing and a passion for creative and strategic thinking, Krista Huebner successfully made the transition across from corporate marketing into the cultural sector. She has most recently been the Marketing Manager at Sydney’s favourite museum, the MCA, and is the co-founder of the arts blog Arts Interview. A lover of all things arts, she hopes to share resources and stories from others in this industry that may inspire fellow professionals and encourage others to traverse this interesting terrain.
