M&G NSW weekly
email bulletin:
On 29 July M&G NSW presented Powerful places: models of convergence in the museum, gallery and library sector, a seminar addressing the challenges and benefits presented by the convergence of cultural facilities. Over 60 delegates attended the day, which was held at Tamworth Regional Gallery. Many thanks go to Tamworth Council and the staff at Tamworth Regional Gallery for helping create such a successful event.
The seminar included international and local speakers, who presented a variety of convergence models and perspectives. One of the day’s highlights was a panel session which encouraged lively debate about convergence, co-location, cultural precincts and the identity of individual institutions. M&G NSW would like thank to all the speakers who participated in the day: Bill Macnuaght, Michelle Brennand, Carina Clement, Meg Larkin, Noelle Nelson, Maisy Stapleton and Sally Watterson.
