The Standards Community Directory is an annual publication developed by M&G NSW in partnership with Museum and Gallery Services Queensland. The Directory is an on-line document only - hard copy editions are not available.

 

A total of 100 museums have taken part in the Standards Program since its inception in 2003 - each of these museums is featured in the 2010 Standards Community Directory (available to download below).

 

The Directory features an outline of each museum that has gone through the Standards Program, including contact details, a museum profile, and how they benefited from participating in the Standards Program.

 

Each Museum listed in the Directory:

  • Is promoting its unique profile to the “Standards Community” and wider audiences,
  • Is available to assist and answer any questions current participants may have as they undertake each stage of the Standards Program,
  • Is contactable via the details and hours as per their Museum Profile page,
  • Will share with all other “Standards Community” members - including new members - their achievements and outcomes from participating in the Standards Program and,
  • Has provided words of support and encouragement to new participants in the Standards Program.
