M&G NSW publications inform and respond to the NSW museum and gallery sector, our subscribers and stakeholders. Our publications include the MAG, Alert!, Exhibitions Register, Annual Report, and the Standards Community Directory.

 

Alert! is M&G NSW’s weekly electronic bulletin, featuring the latest news and opportunities within the sector. Regular items include upcoming grants, professional development programs, employment opportunities, exhibitions as well as current sector and M&G NSW news. Contributions for Alert! are welcome.

 

The Exhibitions Register lists touring exhibitions available to public venues throughout NSW and Australia. It is a valuable resources for any gallery or museum planning their exhibition program over the next couple of years.

 

M&G NSW produces an Annual Report each year which summarises the previous year’s activities and achievements. It is a useful document for getting a snapshot of M&G NSW’s projects, research, events and other activities.

 

The Standards Community Directory is produced by M&G NSW in partnership with Museum and Gallery Services Queensland and features an outline of each museum that has gone through the Standards Program since 2003 including contact details, a Museum Profile, and how they benefited from participating in Standards.

 

The Aboriginal summit Keeping Places and Beyond: Building cultural futures in NSW held at CarriageWorks on September 2011, M&G NSW generated a reader, report and recommendations.

 

M&G NSW also publishes its sector research, and summary proceedings from M&G NSW seminars. Please see the resources section of the website for these materials.
