Call for Museum Advisor Register Applications

Museums and Galleries NSW (M&G NSW) is currently calling for applications to be included on the Museum Advisor Register.

 

The Museum Advisors Program facilitates the sustainable development of museums in regional NSW. If you have strategic planning and general museum skills or expertise applicable to the regional and volunteer managed museum sector, and you are available to make regular journeys to regional NSW for twenty days each year, you may wish to be considered for Museum Advisor positions.

 

When a Council wishes to engage a Museum Advisor, a short list of Museum Advisors with appropriate regional and strategic experience is provided by M&G NSW. It is up to each Council to select their preferred Advisor for the position. The selected Museum Advisor is remunerated with a fee to cover their services, accommodation, meals and travel.
