2009/10 Incoming Touring Exhibition Grant Recipients

On 23 September 2009, the 2009/10 Incoming Touring Exhibition Grant (ITEG) was assessed by a five member panel brought together by M&G NSW. The panel assessed 16 applications from 14 organisations from regional NSW. It was a competitive round with 11 projects funded. The successful applicants are below:

 

  • Bathurst Regional Art Gallery - Sidney Nolan: the Gallipoli series         
  • Bega Valley Regional Gallery - Baseline: remnant grassland at Weereewa/Lake George         
  • Broken Hill City Council - Robert McFarlane: Received Moments Photography 1961-2009    
  • Cowra Regional Art Gallery - FRUiTS: Tokyo Style – Photographs by Shoichi Aoki         
  • Gilgandra Coo-ee Heritage Centre - 2009 Parliament of NSW Aboriginal Art Prize       
  • Goulburn Regional Art Gallery - Joseph Banks and the flora of the Australian east coast        
  • Grafton Regional Gallery - Recycled library: Altered books        
  • Manning Regional Art Gallery - Talking Tapa: Pacifica Bark Cloth In Queensland          
  • Northern Rivers Community Gallery - 2009 Parliament of NSW Aboriginal Art Prize     
  • Port Macquarie Hastings Council - 2009 Parliament of NSW Aboriginal Art Prize         
  • New England Regional Art Museum - Nora Heysen: Light and Life       

 

As in previous years, $50,000 in devolved funds from Arts NSW was allocated in this round.

 

The assessment panel comprised:

  • Dan Brush, M&G NSW Board Member,
  • Tristan Sharp, Senior Coordinator of Education, AGNSW and M&G Visual Arts Reference Committee member
