M&G NSW provides grants to museums and galleries and fellowship opportunities to individuals working in the museum and gallery sector.

 

The Volunteer Initiated Museums (VIM) Grant Program provides assistance to volunteer initiated community museums in NSW. Managed by M&G NSW and supported by devolved funds from Arts NSW, the program is designed to provide volunteer managed museums with funding for projects addressing skill development, operational planning and forward planning.

 

The Incoming Touring Exhibition Grant Program (ITEG) provides assistance to visual arts organisations, and craft and design centres throughout NSW. Managed by M&G NSW, the ITEG Program is financed by funds devolved from Arts NSW.

 

M&G NSW also has an established Fellowship and Mentorship Program that provides opportunities for staff of museums and galleries located in regional and remote areas to experience working in a major urban institution.
