This program provides volunteer museum staff with access to the resources and staff of larger or specialised cultural organisations. It is anticipated that skills gained during the placement will be shared with colleagues and applied within their museum.
This is an opportunity to learn new skills or develop a greater understanding of an area of museum practice that meets a specific need or gap within your museum.
The Volunteer Placement Program is open to volunteer staff from volunteer managed and small museums or keeping places in NSW.
Applicants can select their own host organisation/s. M&G NSW is able to provide advice to applicants on suitable host/s and can make contact with relevant organisations on their behalf.
