Shaun Gladwell: Videowork

An Artspace exhibition toured by Museums & Galleries NSW.

Shaun Gladwell is one of Australia’s most prominent younger artists, working extensively internationally in the medium of video. His already celebrated video works focus upon figures engaged in performative actions such as skateboarding, BMX riding and break-dancing, that articulate relationships with their immediate environment, whether in Sydney, Tokyo or São Paulo. Shaun Gladwell: Videowork is an important touring exhibition for regional galleries, enabling the introduction of media and time based art to new and diverse audiences.
