The Parliament of NSW Aboriginal Art Prize is an annual acquisitive prize of $20,000 awarded to an Aboriginal visual artist born in New South Wales. Since its inception in 2005, the exhibition has been dedicated to showcasing the wealth of talent and artistic merit of the Aboriginal people to the wider community of New South Wales.

 

This year, 43 works by 37 individual artists were selected as finalists and includes painting, photography, textiles and sculptural installation works.
