Museums & Galleries NSW (M&G NSW) is the leading agency to develop, support and promote regional, community and public museums and galleries across NSW. Along with government funding we continue to operate through the generous support of individuals. 

 

When donating to M&G NSW you know you are joining a group of passionate contributors making a big difference to the statewide sector.

 

M&G NSW is listed on the Register of Culutral Organisations. Any donations over $2 are fully tax deductable.

 

 

Support your local museum and gallery

 

If you wish to support a specific museum and/or gallery please check the following things:

 

1. Are donations of money and/or goods to the organisation tax deductible?

2. Does the organisation have a donations program?

 

To qualify as a deduction under Division 30 of the Act, a gift must be given vountarily without the donor receiving any material advantage or benefit in return. 

 

If you are a museum or gallery and wish to receive donations go to the Australian Taxation Office website and learn more about how to become a DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient).
