Frank Howarth is the Director of the Australian Museum and is the former Director and Chief Executive of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust. He has experience and expertise in science policy and management of science based programs and has held positions with the Department of Industrial Development and Decentralisation, NSW Science and Technology Council, Public Service Board, and the Roads and Traffic Authority.

 

Frank brings an unparalleled understanding of state government and state cultural issues and the experience of managing a major state cultural institution.
