The Museums & Galleries NSW Board plays a key role in the strategic development of the organisation and the management of its resources. The Board adds value to the organisation, through its expertise, judgment, knowledge, and connections. It focuses on critical issues which will impact on the effectiveness of the organisation to meet its functional responsibilities. The Board works through the CEO, who is delegated to manage the organisation’s resources and strategic direction. The Board also appoints and monitors the work of the CEO.
